GEORGE I. BUSTARD, Jr., AAMFTGeorge I. Bustard, Jr. (Wyndmoor Office Only) is a Clinical Member of the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy and a Fellow of the American Association of Pastoral Counselors.  He has earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Lafayette College, an M.Div. degree from Princeton Theological Seminary, and a Th.M. degree from Crozer Theological Seminary in Rochester, N.Y., George has held a number of clinical, administrative and supervisory positions in a variety of in-patent and out-patient settings spanning a professional career of more than 40 years, including:

  • Providing individual, couple and family therapy to a wide variety of clients
  • Supervising and training counselors, therapists, clergy and other caregivers
  • Conducting consultations with clergy and congregations
  • Lecturing, teaching, and workshop-leading

In all the service George provides, he uses a blend of psychodynamic and family-system approaches and techniques. He enjoys working from a holistic point of view while assessing and addressing the spiritual as well as the psychological dimensions of his clients’ lives, personalities and relationships.

George develops with his clients (teens, adults, and seniors) workable strategies to enhance their native resilience, support them through periods of grief and loss, and develop creative plans to guide and sustain them through their later years.
