JACQUELINE A. PRIOR, M.A. Jacqueline Prior is a licensed psychologist and a certified school psychologist in the state of Pennsylvania. She received her Master of Arts in Psychology from Duquesne University, her School Psychology Certification from Temple University and successfully completed an Extern Program in Family Therapy at the Philadelphia Child Guidance Center. Mrs. Prior’s professional experience is both broad and varied. Her clinical experience includes individual and family therapy for adults, adolescents, and children. She has had extensive experience in providing psychological assessment for school age children, including evaluation of cognitive, academic, perceptual-memory and personality functioning. She has also provided psychological evaluations for preschool children with special education needs. Complementing Mrs. Prior’s direct client services is her experience in consultation and staff development. As a member of an Educational Instructional Support Team (IST), she has worked with teachers to develop curriculum adaptations and classroom management strategies. She has also provided programs on differential diagnosis in childhood anxiety/depression, academic retention, and psychological evaluation. In addition, she has provided numerous family and school consultations on a wide spectrum of academic and behavioral concerns.
Mrs. Prior has been employed as both a school psychologist and a clinical
psychologist. As a school psychologist she has worked for the
Philadelphia Elwyn Nonpublic School Program, the Montgomery County
Intermediate Unit Special Education Division, and the PASS Program in Bala
Cynwyd. As a clinical psychologist, Mrs. Prior has been an associate at
Schuylkill Valley Counseling, Evergreen Counseling Associates, and the
Cascade Aphasia Program. |
