CLINICAL SERVICES
Testing and Evaluation
Specialized testing and
evaluation services are offered to children from pre-school through late
adolescence, young adults, and adults.
Assessments are available
including intellectual, emotional, psychosocial, neuropsychological and
academic functioning. GKSW/CGA also provides a comprehensive program to
address the needs of individuals with Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity
Disorder (ADHD), Asperger’s Disorder and other social learning
disabilities. Our approach includes support and consultation to the
families, schools, and communities within which these individuals live and
work.
Trauma Adjustment
The Trauma Adjustment & Rehabilitation Services Program serves traumatic
brain injury, spinal cord, stroke, amputee, multiple trauma, and
catastrophic illness patients. Patients are seen in acute care and
rehabilitation hospitals, extended care facilities, their homes, or our
offices. Services include individual and family counseling and
psychotherapy as well as long-term care planning.
Clinical Contract Services
GKSW/CGA is proud of its
history of providing outstanding clinical services, on a contractual
basis, to both in-patient and out-patient healthcare and mental health
providers to augment their regular programs. Depending upon the
organization’s needs, GKSW/CGA has provided psychodrama, movement therapy, and
individual, group, and couples/family therapy programs.
